A quick Google brings up a lot of sources for this quote. I was under the impression it was a biblical one, however, it doesn’t really matter.
The original name for this post was ” “The Best is Yet to Come”; Hope for 2021″. I guess when I started writing it I had aimed to have it posted a little earlier than halfway through the year!!
A lot has changed. All for the better. We moved to Scotland, to the countryside. We welcomed our daughter Faith into the world to make our family one of four, along with the two fur babies. I left my very stable job to start a business of my own – scary biccies!! This is phase one of the plan we have to create a life that previously, we’ve only ever dreamed of.

Whether its the country air or it just would have happened anyway, the kids are growing as fast in the weeds in our now rather wild and expansive garden! It’s a far cry from the mid-terrace in Newtownards, I can tell you!
We are living proof that if you really put your mind to it and want it, you can make your life whatever you want. Even in seemingly impossible circumstances.
Or maybe that’s just my level of stubbornness….(!)
